GETTING STARTED WITH GROOBY NETWORK

We are only looking for websites and people who are serious about running their company. You may already have an existing website, you may be a model looking to start one - or simply somebody with a great idea! Whether you are an established transsexual star, a cross-dresser or producer with access to a niche they want to create (and anything in-between), we want to hear from you only if:

  1. you are aware that to build a site takes time and dedication before it's even operable.
  2. it can take time to return revenue on a website and it needs to be worked on regularly.
  3. you can guarantee regular updates and good quality content for your members.

If this is you ... then please read on!

Once we've agreed to manage your site, there are a number of steps and options that need to be decided:

Name - Choosing a name for the site. You need to choose something appropriate. If you already have a name or brand then build something like that. For example, if you are a model on other sites or cams called "Mary Smith" then consider a site called marysmith.com or TSmarysmith.com, if your site is going to be about a certain topic then try and build a domain around that. We can help you with this and make suggestions. We'd suggest building a blog at this domain so you can start building traffic before your site goes live. We can set this up for you.

Content - Great sites start with great content and you need to be able to provide quality content for your members. You will need at least 12 sets of photos/videos to start the site with a new set updated weekly.

Site Design - The site will need to be based on a template that works around our database, we will provide you or your graphic designer the exact blueprint for how the graphics need to be but all colours, fonts and designs are up to you as are the different pages within your site. If you do not have a designer, we may be able to do this for you for an additional one-off fee. There will be a blog included in your site. If you want a forum, you will have to pay the small fee for the forum software (directly from the developer).

Billing - For a solo model site, the price should be between $19.99 a month and $24.99. You can offer discounts for longer term memberships or to encourage them to stay longer. Our billing company takes 10% of the sale. Independent websites would have to pay a $750 credit card fee before you began and are likely to be charged up to 14-15.5% so you get an immediate saving there. We also have other billing options which we will discuss with you, that can raise your revenue.

Affiliates - Affiliates require a great deal of management but through out Groobybucks program we can make this easy. Affiliates are like salespeople who sell your website on their own review, blog, listing sites and social networking. Please take a look at our Affiliate Agreement [LINK} to see the full rules. The industry standard (and Groobybucks standard) is 50% of the sale for the lifetime of the sale. This may seem like a lot but the work and cost required by you to get those same customers would be far greater, which leads us to ...

Ok so now you've got your content, built the site and made decisions on what to include on your site. Our online handbook will show you how to add your content to the database, how to link to other sites, add editorial pages and blurb about the sets, how to moderate comments and generally everything you need to do to run the site weekly.

PROMOTIONS

It's important that you get as many sales for your site by yourself as you can to maximise your profit. You can achieve this through multiple ways, including social networking, advertising and friends. We will give you a full plan tailored to your site on what you need to be doing to increase your own sales.

PAYMENTS AND STATISTICS

You will get a weekly report emailed to you showing your sales, rebills, chargebacks, affiliate sales, etc. as well as other information. Every month you will get a full breakdown along with the payment due to you.

CROSS-SELLING

An important part of your revenue can be the cross-selling of other products or websites from your website. If you have appeared on another (non-Grooby*) website, you can post links/banners with an affiliate code that will make you 50% of that sale. If you've appeared in DVD's or simply want to promote a DVD, then you can link directly to Video on Demand sites, to make a percentage there. If you appear on a cam system you can link there. These are all easy ways to increase revenue and you need to think carefully about which products/sites you want to sell.

PAPERWORK, IDs AND 2257

You are the owner of all your content and as the owner/producer you are responsible for your paperwork. This includes keeping all model releases, ID's and 2257 forms in a secure location, that will need to be listed on the website. We will give you templates to work from but it's extremely important that you follow legal obligations in your record keeping.

COPYRIGHT AND DMCA NOTIFICATIONS

We strongly suggest that you copyright your work. If you see your content being shown on any tube sites, forums or torrents then by emailing the links to our DMCA agent, we will arrange the DMCA notification for you. Our DMCA agent scours these forums/sites daily and a free added service to you, your content will be included in their searches.

QUALITY CONTROL AND UPDATES

We are trying to build a strong brand with a strong identity and will only select individuals we feel are serious about creating a quality website. By limiting our websites in this way, it ensures that the customer feels confident about joining another of our sites. You must run a website which is committed to being regularly updated and value for money to remain in the program.

ADVICE AND MENTORING

We are always here to give you advice on your site and how to promote it. We have a team of graphic designers, editors, marketers and website managers. We will try and point you in the right direction but you may have other avenues and ideas that will also be profitable. With our system, you are the boss and your contact with us, is as little or as much as you need.

Although the template is not rigid, we would prefer to stick quite closely to it in order to speed up the creation process. With graphics, colours, fonts and other design elements, this template can vary greatly to represent the desired style of your website.
